Deadline for County Round Up has been Extended

COUNTY 4-H ROUNDUP COMPETITON DETAILS:

When: March 29 @ 7PM

Where: CEO Conference Room (tentative)

Entry Deadline: March 19^th @ 5PM

Queens Contest: Tickets/T-Shirts and Fish Fry

Please bring your ticket stubs & money or tickets you did not sell to the next 4H meeting.  The following is a list of people who currently have tickets out right now:

Also, we will be selling T-shirts as part of a fund raiser also.  They will be $15 each and as soon as I get them in will send a picture out for everybody to see them and to place an order, if you would like one. 

 

And last, but not least, we will be having a fish fry to raise $$ for Anna on March 10, 2012, beginning at 300p at Kenny Derrington's home.  Everyone is invited to attend, it will be $10/plate and you will receive a ticket for every dollar you spend and/or donate.  If you would like to come, please give me or David a call so we can get a head count and  give you directions to their home.  David 903/746-0329 and Leigh 903/721-0747.

Photography - Seniors

If you wish to participate in the state photography competition your photos MUST be submitted online by April 15th.    Cost is $10 per photo, and there are 15 categories to choose from.

Each county can only enter ONE photo per category, and so far we have not had any Seniors participate in Photography for Cherokee County.  So, this field is wide open, and is "first come, first served" as far as the categories.   If you wish to participate, please send me your name and the category in which you wish to compete.

County Round Up Information

County Round Up will take place March 29th.    Deadline to enter is March 8th by 5:00 pm.  Please send an e-mail to Willie to register by then. 

County Round Up is made up of many different categories such as Health, Safety (gun safety, boating, etc.)  talent, Horse Bowl, Beef Quiz Bowl, Project Demonstration, etc... there are a LOT of categories to choose from.

District Round Up will be held April 28th at Stephen F. Austin University.

Bake Sale - November 18th

Please make plans to help Anna by baking something for this bake sale!

Note from Leigh Yancey:

Our Queen Contestant - Anna Hamilton is going to do a bake sale for the Lookout 4H Queens Contest at SAY Plastics on Friday November 18th and we would appreciate it if all parents would make something that we could use at the bake sale to help out. They can bring it to the meeting on Monday (provided it would still be good on Friday to sell) or they can bring it to my office thru Friday at 2:00 pm.
